#3: The Life & Lusts Of Liv

Pyjama Party Wish List

Winter is well and truly upon us - frost is in the air, fairy lights are draped across every surface, the mulled wine is on and... it's flippin' freezing. Whilst there are many advantages to this time of year (it's acceptable to eat chocolate for breakfast, not to mention no one can judge you for listening to the likes of Shakin' Stevens), there are a few things I could do without - feeling cold and getting a cold. Resembling Rudolph is not sexy. Unless it's a fetish you're into, then whatever floats your boat...

I'm a major pyjama fiend - you could call me an aficionado - so I'd like to think I know what I'm talking about when I say I've picked out some winter warmers to combat those chilly nights and keep you looking cute, AKA the perfect combo.

After putting this list together I couldn't help myself from popping into Topshop and taking that dinosaur hottie home with me, he's (yup, that's right, it's a boy) super soft and snuggly and a regular fixture in my bed. Next on my list are those Beauty & The Beast pj's for my inner Disney princess.

You can't go wrong with fluff at this time of year, in fact it's practically law you must own at least one piece of fluffy goodness, so Joules socks or a New Look dressing gown fit the bill to a tee. Again, I should know as I own both. Told you I love jim jams. Hey, if you listen closely you can hear those South Beach Cutie Pie pants calling my name...

Primark Jumper
Primark Jumper
Barry M NailLa Moda Backpack
Fat Face ankle boots
Jumper & Jeans - Primark, Bag - La Moda (old), Boots - Fat Face (old), Rings - Pandora

A pretty laid back look from me today, just one of those days for keeping it casual - and matching your jumper to the wall. This Primark knit has got to be one of my best ever buys at just £3! I know, amazing right? Team it with Primarni's finest skinnies (£6!) and you've got yourself a bargain outfit, aka any poor student's dream.

And yes, I am wearing yet another pair of ankle boots, surprise surprise. I got these Fat Face lovelies last winter and despite wearing them to death they're still going strong. I'm so glad I bought them, they go with pretty much everything and have become a wardrobe staple for me.

#2: The Life & Lusts Of Liv

High Street Fashion Sale Picks

So it's that time of year again, the sun goes into hiding and the (freezing) cold comes out to play. Buuut... It's not all bad, as can clearly be seen in the following three point argument, ahem - a) it's the perfect excuse for a hot chocolate at all times b) the countdown to christmas begins (yay!) and c) the shops go into sale!

I thought I'd share the pieces which have mysteriously found there way into my shopping basket on here and shamelessly encourage/force others to splash the cash, because everyone knows it doesn't count if it's on offer.
I think my favourite item has to be the gorgeous suede fringed bag from ASOS - no surprises there then, what with fringe being the operative word...

An Abundance Of Tassels

What I Wore
Market Jewellery
Topshop Earrings
Primark Fringed Ankle Boots
Shirt - Cotton on, Jeans/Boots/Hat - Primark, Bag - H&M, Earrings - Topshop,
Ring/Bracelet - Market

I bought this shirt last year in Australia (where more shopping than sight-seeing took place) despite being unsure about it. It wasn't until a few months ago I realised how much I love it, it's easy to wear and style and basically, if you couldn't already tell, I wear it all the time.

Another obsession of mine at the moment (along with The Walking Dead - did you see last nights episode?!) is tassels. If it's got a tassel I am all over it - aside from the nipple type that is, my addiction doesn't stretch that far - so when I saw these boots in Primarni I knew I needed them in my life, along with those super cute Topshop earrings.

I also promise that there will be an outfit post that doesn't feature that hat in the near future. Ok, maybe I can't make that kind of commitment but I promise I'll try and that's what counts right... Right?!

After falling off the face of the internet I have finally returned to my little blog and I solemnly vow to stick around. A brief overview of my time out includes finishing my first year of uni, spending six weeks in the Netherlands, becoming an auntie for the second time, two weeks of work experience and returning to uni. Aaaand breathe.

My first outfit back is so comfy and so cosy - the two requirements needed for all autumnal styling. I also cannot get enough of the hat, bag and those boots at the moment, they may have to be surgically removed if there is to be any variety in my future outfit posts.
